Protein-per-calorie & Fullness Score calculator
Quick answer
Enter any food's calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber (per 100 g, from any nutrition label) and how many grams you're eating. This calculator instantly shows two numbers: your protein-per-calorie ratio (grams of protein per calorie — TunedCook's own bar for "high protein" is 0.06 g/kcal or higher) and a 0–100 Fullness Score estimating how filling that food is relative to its calories, using the same formula TunedCook computes for every recipe in its database.
Quick pick a common food (fills per-100g values), or enter your own from a nutrition label:
Fullness Score formula: a weighted blend of protein share, fiber, and energy density, minus penalties for high fat/craveability and refined carbs, then a beverage discount for liquid calories. It's the same recipe-scoring formula used inside the TunedCook app itself, reproduced here in JavaScript so it runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere. Protein-per-calorie ratio uses TunedCook's own 0.06 g/kcal "high protein" bar. Quick-pick values are approximate USDA-basis figures for illustration, not lab-verified.

Frequently asked questions
What is a good protein-per-calorie ratio?+
TunedCook's own app treats 0.06 grams of protein per calorie (g/kcal) as the bar for "high protein." Above 0.08 g/kcal is excellent; above 0.10 g/kcal is exceptional (e.g. plain chicken breast is roughly 0.19 g/kcal).
What is the Fullness Score?+
It's a 0-100 estimate of how filling a food is relative to its calories, blending protein share, fiber, and energy density, with penalties for high fat/craveability and refined carbs, plus a discount for liquid calories (drinks/smoothies satiate less per calorie than solid food). It's the same formula TunedCook computes for every recipe in its database.
Does this calculator store or send my data anywhere?+
No. All the math runs in your browser in plain JavaScript — nothing you type is sent to any server.
Where do the per-100g numbers come from?+
Enter them yourself from any nutrition label for an exact result, or tap a quick-pick food for an approximate USDA-basis estimate.
